About Blue Fig Farms
International Grocery Store
Blue Fig Farms is an asian grocery store in Bakersfield, California. It is listed at 4901 Stockdale Hwy, Bakersfield, CA 93309, which places it among the local businesses of Bakersfield that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Bakersfield with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in California may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 amβ9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Blue Fig Farms at (661) 735-7535; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is bluefigfarms.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 288 reviews, which is a strong result for an asian grocery store in Bakersfield and suggests consistent service.
Bakersfield is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Bakersfield follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Blue Fig Farms is awesome, but I love Mazaj Coffee and Tea that's in there. I've had 8 or 9 different drinks from their menu and they're all delicious. And all of the people making the drinks are super nice and friendly.

Loved it, i will definitely be back. Natalie, at the coffee/ area, was very friendly and helpful, explaining the difference in coffee and tea. π΅ βοΈ π«

I love Blue Fig Farms! Iβm a huge fan of their Turkish coffeeβonce youβve tried it, itβs hard to go back to regular coffee or even espresso. A special shoutout to the girl with the piercings and jewelry who enhances the experience by sharing her knowledge about coffee and its different varieties. Her passion really adds a unique touch to the visit.

I save so much money getting my halal meat here. The ribeye steaks are a thing of beauty. I love this market! Not only do they have unbelievable prices on their halal meat and their exotic produce but they also have bulk bins with so many amazing nuts and spices! Come check out these middle eastern cookies, candies, and pastries plus the mouthwatering Z'attar spice coated Naan bread. The butcher counter has the most fresh looking meat that I have ever seen at any butcher anywhere. They have offal and halal sausages and lunch meats as well. From what I could see there was no seafood choices . There is a Turkish coffee and tea counter that serves cardamom coffee and milk tea. So strong and good! If you don't want a prepared coffee or tea, their selection of Middle Eastern and Asian coffees and teas to make at home is extensive. I took so many pictures and many videos. Today is my second time and the owners are so friendly and welcoming. If you have a question about any of the products, all you have to do is ask and they are very happy to tell you all about it. I'm obviously stoked about the products, but the prices are so fair that I can easily say I hope to be here every week.
